Planet Pod visits the Cairngorm Reindeer with Emily and Alex Smith

During Planet Pod’s summer break we visited Britain’s only free-ranging herd of reindeer in the Cairngorm mountains in Scotland. As well as getting up close and personal to these magnificent creatures and experiencing some of their natural habitat, we talked to Emily and Alex Smith from Cairngorm Reindeer about the origin of the herd and the benefits and challenges of introducing a species such as reindeer to the Highlands.
